If your trip cannot take place due to COVID-19, you will not incur any costs. There are € 0.- cancellation costs in this case.

To reduce your risk, your credit card will not be charged when you place your order.

Payment is only made when you arrive at the hotel. If you are unable to travel due to COVID-19, your credit card will not be charged. So you don’t have to worry about the transfer back and you don’t have to wait for a transfer back under any circumstances.

The aim of the campaign is to say thank you to the residents of Vienna, who contribute to the fact that tourists from all over the world feel at home with us and get a positive image of the city. We would like to make it possible for you to have an unforgettable weekend in Vienna.

In addition, we want to break down any inhibitions and bring you closer to the numerous great offers that Viennese hotels have in store for us as residents of the city.

Last but not least, we would also like to support the Viennese economy, especially retail, gastronomy, culture & sightseeing, by inspiring Viennese to „stay in Vienna“ and arouse their desire to buy and enjoy culture.

The offer is only valid for people who have their place of residence in Austria and would like to experience Vienna as a private traveler.

The „Experience Vienna in Summer“ edition takes place from July 1st, 2021 to September 12th, 2021 .

The start of booking for the „Experience Your Capital Spring in Vienna“ edition is June 27th, 2021 at 9 a.m. and the end of booking is September 8th, 2021. The demand for one of the coveted rooms was already very high in advance and the contingents are limited. We therefore ask for your patience and understanding if it does not work at the first hotel. Please book another hotel of your choice in good time, as long as it is available, and possibly put yourself on our waiting list for additional  allotments at your favorite hotel .

You can only  book your hotel online at http://erlebe-deine-hauptstadt.wien by selecting your preferred hotel on our website and finalizing it on the booking platform of our travel agency partner Select Tours.

The booking is always possible up to 96 hours before your desired travel date, so that we can deliver your personalized „Experience your Capital Vienna Card“ and your other gifts to your desired hotel in good time.

It is not possible to book directly with the hotels by phone or online .

Since all bookings are real-time bookings, online booking is the best solution.

Although we have made sure that our servers can cope with great demands, we ask for your patience if you have problems booking online.

If you do not have access to the Internet or, in exceptional cases, have a problem with your booking, you can book offline by phone at +43/1/5266217 (09-18: 00 Mon-Fri).

Due to the high demand, however, there may be longer waiting times.

The „Experience Your Capital“ packages include the following services for 2 people for two nights :

• Overnight in a 3 to 5 star hotel
• at a large number of hotels also including breakfast (then this is stated on the hotel’s booking page)
• For hotels in the „World-famous luxury hotels“, „Design and First Class Hotels“ and „Luxury Lifestyle Hotels“ categories, including a Schlumberger voucher for a welcome drink
• Including give away bags with gifts from top Viennese producers
• Including personal „Experience your Capital Vienna“ booklet
• incl. „Experience your capital city.Wien Card“
• including use of all facilities in your hotel – spa, fitness, pool, etc.

The standard prices are for 2 adults and for a minimum of 2 nights in a double room.

At certain hotels you can also book a third person in the room and additional nights for an extra charge.

The extra nights are booked at the same special room rates.
This is calculated automatically by the system.

If you are taking children under the age of 12 and would like to take them to your room, please inquire about the options at the hotel you have booked.

We offer flexible cancellation options:
all bookings can be canceled up to 72 hours before the arrival date. When you place your order, detailed booking conditions are displayed, which we ask you to accept during the booking process.
Please note that every cancellation should be made by email to cancellation@select-tours.at .

First of all, „Experience your capital“ is of course the ideal gift idea.
Therefore, putting together a gift for someone else and giving a package from EDH is no problem at all.

But even if you have booked for yourself:

If for any reason you are unable to start your vacation on the date you have booked, you can change the name of the traveler up to 24 hours before your arrival date.

The „Experience your capital city. Vienna Card“ is the exclusive VIP Member Card for everyone. Vienna guests and the first VIP guest card for Austrian visitors to Vienna.

Only this you will receive free as a gift with every booking . Valid from check-in at your hotel for the entire duration of the edition of „Experience your capital“ in which your booking falls.

The card is not transferable and does not have to be accepted by our partners without proof of identity.

If you book your second booking in the same year, regardless of the edition, you will receive an Experience your capital city as a gift. Vienna year-round card valid until December 31st .
